My toxic relationship and the sudden onset of loosing everything in my material world, I entered the realm of the dark.

My boss who I adored passed away.

I lost my job.

I lost my home. 

I lost all three of my cars.

It was now just me and my dog, as we journeyed into the dark to uncover the path to my heart. 

Combining holistic healing and spirituality together to help others on their healing journey seemed like a no-brainer.

So, I started going to school to learn all I could. 

During this time, my dragon entered. 

This was no easy process, as he taught me about personal power and self-worth by exposing me to my pain and the wounds I hadn't healed. 

I changed my course of direction a couple of times as I spiritually grew, and my dragon also lead me towards my creativity. 

I began by going within, creating Expressive Soul Art. 

But along the way, wounds I was unaware of came forth and in full force!

I finally began to realize that I needed to work on myself and that along my spiritual journey I was totally spiritual bypassing!

Wow, how'd I miss out on what a hot mess I truly was? I realized I had been running from my pain my entire life. From the early emotional trauma I had suffered, I had self-abandoned, forcing me to look outside myself.

I then could understand that both my entire journey into the dark and creating Expressive Soul Art wasn’t just for me to discover how I could help and heal others, but a reflection of how I needed to heal myself. 

I really reached into my heart and created from my soul, creating the recipe for my own healing, yet discovering my gift that I wished to share with the world. 

I dug up the courage to slaying my dragon!

 I broke free from my isolation and ended my toxic relationship.

I moved back home after 22 years so that I could be around people who truly loved me. 

 I didn't feel so misunderstood anymore because I understood myself better, making socializing and forming healthy relationships easier.

Once I began forming healthy relationships, it switched up my routine, got me out of the house, and even exercising! 

 Even better, I could clearly see that I was able to manage my emotions far better, which gave me more energy and a sense of fulfillment. I no longer experienced burnout or overwhelm. Instead, I became balanced and could moderate my feelings rather than indulge in them. 

My depression? Completely gone, and my anxiety drastically lessened. 

I continued to use my creativity towards my healing journey and it helped me with my core wound, abandonment. As I released a lot of repressed anger I became more grounded and regulated, which brought me balance.

Having adopted all these new positive ways of living led to my addictions becoming something of the past. I was no longer a prisoner to my emotions, as having a creative outlet brought me peace and the revelation of my true self. 

That's my story in a nut shell and how I was called into being a creative catalyst.
